From a bit of time...

if you don't do something everyday, you are not a loser. if you don't do something everyday for a week, you need to find something better to do. if you only kiss when you meet, and refuse to make eye contact otherwise, you're letting yourself be manipulated. When you sit by yourself on your own bed, it doesn't mean that you didn't have to the chance to go out, it just means that you didn't seize the chance. when you don't seize the chance that your given, it is just as well as never having had the chance in the first place. when you don't get the chance, create it for yourself. when you don't appreciate what you do, neither will anybody else. when you feel sorry for yourself, nobody else will. when you become aware of your own self-pity, are you really in a state of self-pity? when you become aware of the changes that your going through, are the changes occurring for good or bad? Are there any changes that are bad, or are they all just in the direction of bringing us where we will eventually be? Isn't that an obvious assumption? Is a reliance on memory something to be frowned down upon? When you depend on your memories for solace, you really do have to bring yourself to create a diversion, and eventually this diversion will become enjoyable. if it doesn't eventually become enjoyable, this is a diversion in the wrong direction. how are you sure of the direction that's appropriate. by its level of satisfaction after the enjoyment. regret is the same as retreat, its the same as retreat from self-promotion. promoting yourself can be enjoyable when those around you admire you for your self-promotion. when your self-promotion becomes an annoyance to those around you, it curdles itself into a form of regret. it is a retreat from true success. an acknowledgement of personal success is necessary for it to eventually be achieved. without personal success and personal satisfaction linking arm in arm, there is only success in the eyes of those around you, but no satisfaction of those around you. when roundabout talking becomes level-headed, its up to you to imbue it with a sense of emotion. To talk about success is also to talk about morality. morality must be considered when making decisions affecting you and those around you. in order to be successful, you must make moral choices. When you've reached an immoral success, you've reached and created a dissatisfaction of those around you towards you, negating the very title of success that you hold dear to you. When you start to read something that you don't understand, figure out what each piece means, and if that means researching each word of the sentence, then you should do so. Otherwise you have wasted your time in attempting to read the sentence in the first place. when you waste your time reading sentences that you don't understand, you are denying your chance at having a successful exchange with the writer of the knowledge. When you think you have come up with an original idea, research a bit more and realize that idea is not really completely original. it becomes a composite of everything that you've seen or read, and this is okay and is the natural cycle of dialogue and dialectic. when you feel as if you are a philosopher, go back and the read the ideas that have already been in the collective conscious for thousands of years. When a thousand years feels like a long time, try holding your breath for about two minutes. those two periods of time are equal to you. and because of this, both are just as important instances in history. when you realize that you can type with your eyes closed, do not take advantage of professors that think you are pulling some type of prank. when you think that its too early to go to bed its probably already too late for you to be up. when you think you've screwed something up beyond recognition, realize that you can revise everything, and if that is impossible, it is not worth keeping.
